Box Platform increases market visibility with a successful new thought leadership strategy
Secure file sharing, storage, and collaboration champion, Box, hired us to create the content and digital strategy for their newly focused Box Platform business unit. Over the course of the year-long engagement for the Box Platform, we created and executed a detailed thought leadership, content, and digital plan, all centered around the theme of digital transformation.
We developed Box Platform’s voice through identifying key target audiences and personas. We delivered both top of-and-middle-of-the funnel marketing assets to drive customer awareness and interest. Campaign touch points included whitepapers, ebooks, infographics, videos, blog posts and social campaigns.
In recent years, Box has launched a fantastic annual event, BoxWorks. Box Platform sought to build out a developer arm of BoxWorks, BoxDev. As part of BoxDev, we built and executed a detailed acquisition plan for 1,500 developers attend BoxDev. Engagement touch points included a strong social media strategy, email communications, a special hack-a-thon event–Box Hack Day, and over 30 Platform-focused lightning talks.
Overall we delivered over 30 content pieces for Box Platform. The ebooks we created became the top-most and second-ranked downloaded pieces for all of Box. Plus, we ended up with over 1,500 BoxDev registrants.
